Autism Research Sniffs It’s Way Forward

I read this article about autism and thought about many of our patients who have children that are affected by this. A study was published in the journal Current Biology that talked about how odors are used to gauge emotions in others and are a form of social communication. Children with autism participated in this study and it was discovered that they had profoundly altered sniff responses. To read more about the study and the results please read the article here.
